This documentation relates to the 5.2 release of Comala Workflows

Documentation for other versions of Comala Workflows is available too.

Overview

Use this option to add a workflow to a page or blog post.

This option is only available in Page Mode.

Adding a workflow

Choose Page Tools → Add Workflow... to display the Add Workflow dialog:

Choose a workflow, then choose Add – this will create a new copy of the workflow on the current page or blog post.

Once added, you can interact with the workflow via the Workflow Status Bar.

Creating a custom workflow

If you want to create a new workflow from scratch, choose Custom states workflow at the bottom of the list.

Where are the workflows defined?

The workflows on the list are stored at space or global level.

For more information see the flowchart on the Administration Guides home page.

When a workflow from the list is added to a page or blog post, a new copy of the workflow is made just for that specific page or blog post. If you edit the workflow, it will only affect that page or blog post and nothing else; the workflows stored at space or global level won't be affected, not will any other content.
